About

Why I build what I build

I'm David Lowry, founder of True-Compass.AI, based in Ben Wheeler, Texas. I spent 29 years in law enforcement and then in government fleet sales before I shipped my first application.

That's the whole reason this studio exists. I knew exactly where a fleet desk loses its day, so GovFleet.AI and FleetQuote fix problems I had sat in front of myself — not problems I read about in a market report.

I work the same way on someone else's idea. You understand your operation better than I ever will. My job is to turn what you already know into software that does it, and to be specific with you about what it will and won't do.

LeaseQuote

An iPhone app for quoting lease payments on the lot. Pick the vehicle amount and the term, and it works out the annual payment, builds the PDF, and sends it by text or email before the customer leaves.

ScoutQC

A pre-delivery inspection app for dealership porters. Photograph the door-jamb VIN sticker and it reads the VIN, matches it to the deal, and files the delivery photos and key count back to the CRM before the unit leaves the lot.
